The Excellence Gateway

The Excellence Gateway provides a range of resources which focus on the FE sector with a range of publications.


Equality and Diversity Forum

A network of national organisations committed to equal opportunities, social justice, good community relations, respect for human rights and an end to discrimination based on age, disability, gender and gender identity, race, religion or belief, and sexual orientation. 
  • EDF works to reduce the impact of prejudice and discrimination on people’s ability to realise their potential.
  • EDF works to promote the human rights of all individuals.
  • EDF works towards a fair society based on mutual respect and understanding.

The network has successfully built consensus and cooperation between a wide range of organisations committed to progress on equality and human rights, enabling them to improve the services and support they can offer to their beneficiaries and to the general public.

TechDis

TechDis is a JISC funded service which aims to enhance provision for disabled students and staff by the use of technology.  They have produced some useful Accessibility Essentials Guides, to help staff develop more inclusive curricula.  Information about these is available online here.
